This Art Deco era engagement ring centers a .47 carat old European cut diamond with I color and VS2 clarity in a bezel setting made of 10 karat yellow and white gold. Intricate filigree work decorates the band with the delicate openwork patterns that defined the early part of the period.  Yellow gold was rarely used during the period and this is a rare example of an Art Deco yellow gold engagement ring.
